What is Maryland EGGfest?
A celebration of Big Green Eggs, farmers, crafters, food, cooking outside, contests, music, backyard chickens and Easter! A festival held at Kelly Moore Sheds & Marketplace in Williamsport, Maryland.
The Big Green Egg is a ceramic grill, oven, smoker and roaster all in one, using hardwood charcoal. If you enjoy cooking outdoors, the Big Green Egg is an investment and the last grill you will ever need to purchase. The Egg will bring you many, many delicious meals for years to come!
$10 at the gate gives each visitor 10 tasting tickets to vote with and taste each contestant's Chef's Choice sample for the People's Choice Award. This $10 ticket also includes a Big Green Egg wristband and a Maryland EGGfest JUDGE sticker. Contestants may only serve samples to those with the wristband and JUDGE sticker.
People's Choice Judges vote for their favorite food prepared by cooking enthusiasts by dropping a ticket into the favored teams bucket. The contestant/team with the most tickets at 3:45pm wins the 1st Place Grand Prize! Judges can drop one to ten tickets into their favored contestant's bucket.

Something for everyone during the Maryland EGGfest!
Music, beer, lemonade, crafters, farmers, cornhole, and an Easter Egg Hunt at 1pm for children 2 to 10. There's also a Treasure Hunt for children ages 2 to 12 throughout the day.
